Why have I not discovered it before?? Came here with my 2 year old grandson yesterday. There is so much to do in a good-sized area for young children. Great variety of animals, loved the authentic looking dinosaurs and other large animals too, great play areas and picnic areas. Being able to touch and feed animals was brilliant. Highlight? Hard to pick but probably feeding the lambs. Also in Covid times I felt very safe. Well done to everyone who works there. read less

First off, it's a farm in Chadderton not lapland - what they have done with it is great and given the price, not sure what people expect. As always in this area, weather was cold! Car park was no problem, found a space straight away. Greeted in a friendly manner and shown where to queue for Mrs Clause. politely told which bench to sit at to isolate from other families - well organised. The poor lady in here must have been frozen to the bone but she interacted with the children and read a story. We were then politely ushered to the area to meet Santa who was funny and tried his best to entertain given the circumstances. Thought the idea of standing near a tree was a good one to keep distance etc. We then went to the elf bit where my son got a present. Loved the fireplace idea!
We then had a walk around the farm as we hadn't been before. Saw ducks, geese, donkeys, horses, goats etc. A real bonus as I expected not to see any given previous reports. My son loved this bit. Park was muddy but it's middle of December on a farm!!! Can't expect anything else!
He then had a go at the diggers and the cars. Cars track a bit bumpy but he loved it for that reason!
All staff very polite, felt very safe with the COVID measures and thought they had done a great job given the circumstances. Will be back in Summer to see it in better weather and again next Christmas if it's run again. read less

Amazing special visit for Halloween. Enjoy pumpkin picking, carving, the haunted House and the amazing atmosphere whilst being safe.

As brilliant as ever even under current restrictions. Love the farm and all the animals... Deserves all the support possible.

The caterpillar ride is always a highlight and the price is reasonable again- £2 a person. My kids love it.
Feeding the animals is obviously the main attraction and is good fun, but my children especially like the play area which is well maintained and designed. The swings are very good. The zip line is always popular.
I really can’t recommend it more highly if you are looking for something to do for a few hours with the kids. Even during the present virus situation the experience is very good and very little has changed from the normal experience. read less

The website was not very pictorial. We didn’t know what to expect, however we took a leap of faith and went anyway. Glad we did! Amazing afternoon ......
Parking: Nightmare!!! They have a sizable parking lot however it’s not enough and one has to scout for parking outside the premise. They have 2 sessions so make sure you are there at the end of the previous one to get parking and wait.
Check In: awesome. Just check the number given when you pay on PayPal and you will wiz right in!
Animal Feeds: it’s available at £1 or so however you have to bring cash as they don’t accept plastic.
Rides: the train ride is the best. Again no plastic so carry cash. I saw many children cry their balls out because their parents didn’t have the coin with the Queen’s face :-;
The place has Space, animals and loads of fun things for the whole family to have a fun afternoon. Bring out the selfie sticks, there are many animals waiting to take a picture with you. read less

The one way system that was put in place fornCovid works well and meant that you saw all the animals throughput the farm.
There is a couple of play areas which cater to different aged children.
It would have been nice to have a little more equipment for you get children but they were happy enough with the swings and slide.
The petting zoo was brilliant and the kids loved petting the rabbit!
All extra activities you need to pay for on site so if you do want to use any of the other attractions be ready with cash.
The catapillar ride did look really fun but we didn't realise so couldn't enjoy it ourselves
Would come again..and hopemits not a rainy day this time read less

To say the place is dated would be an understatement, dilapidated is more accurate.
I’ve seen travelling fairs that looked in better nick than this place HOWEVER the place is for small children and they simply do not care about how things look, it’s all about the experience and our two (8&4) were not disappointed.
I can only say good things about the place after the initial shock of how run down everything looked, it is much bigger than meets the eye at first glance with plenty to keep the kids entertained for a full afternoon or morning.
The entry fee is cheap then you pay per ride but most things are only a pound. The kids especially loved the mimic jcb diggers and you seemed to get ages of time for your £1.
There are all the usual farm park animals and they all looked healthy and happy, there’s also a giant tortoise.
Animal feed bags were available to buy, again very reasonable at £1 a bag and the kids loved walking the loop around the huge main field hand feeding the various animals.
We had a great family afternoon making memories and the children loved every second which is what it’s all about. Yes it did look like steptoe’s yard upon entry but don’t let the aesthetics ruin what can be a great time for the little ones. read less

No regrets at all. Very reasonable prices to see the animals! Everyone was so friendly! Animals were right characters! One of the horses would keep hoofing his tray for more food. Really made us laugh.
The walk around is great. Broken up by animals to feed and different play areas.
The petting area is open from 1200-1500 and its brilliant!
Kids get to hold rabbits, mice, rats, tortoise, and other animals. They loved it in here.
Not much food wise, so bring your own is best. But it's a great experience!
Enjoy! read less

There is ample free parking most of the time but during big seasonal event such as Christmas and Halloween etc you may have to wait a little to park. You can feed the animals and their is a lovely circular route to walk around the farm. There are a couple of large children's play areas and animal petting area. If you want to bring a picnic there are places to eat it. Alternatively there is a place to buy snacks. There are also a number of children's rides and games for which there is a small reasonable fee to pay. I would highly recommend going to see father Christmas there and going to their Halloween event inclusive of pumpkin calving. Family run attraction which means any money you spent is going right back into the community and supports local employment. read less
